The electronic part

The whole of the electronic components are housed in a PVC shell. Once installed at the PoS, it remains just to « plug in ‘n’ play ».

- The large size PoS Systems, Electric wheel of Fortune, Jackpot, Pixel Pop and Digits’ Box...

- The counter top systems : The Sloty, the new minx...

The trigger mechanisms

The game is triggered by a varied number of mechanisms.

(This will depend on the overall mechanic sought)

Bar Code Reader

Allows for the reading of loyalty cards, promotional cards containing a bar code or even EAN 13 codes printed on certain products.

Electronic detection slot :

The player slides his card, token or voucher in the system’s slot.

The card might be enclosed in
for exemple : a mailer or distributed by a hostess or at the check-out.

token

Usually in plastic or card. Cutomised or standard issue.

pre-cut voucher

The consumer is invited to fill in his details on the voucher.
Advantage ? You now have their data.
A free draw is often held at the end of the promotion

Magnetic stripe reader

Usually used for loyalty cards containing a magnetic stripe.

The keyboard2

The client is invited to tap in a code on the system’s keyboard.
(The code will have been printed on a mailer, e-mail or flyers for example)

One armed bandits

Promotions based on gaming machines at the Casino : The game is triggered as soon the client pulls the arm of the bandit.

The bumper

The systems with a « Bumper » (large button) are often used where a hostess is present and she will ask the client to « press and play ».

The multi button option

Principally used for multi-choice quizzes.


Winning announcements

Winners can be revealed in many different ways.

Visual result :

- Bright lights (jackpot) - the lights stop on the prize that has been won.

- LEDs - as above, these stop on the prize won or surround a prize in a circle of LEDs.

- Digital luminous lights – inscribes a personalised message – e.g « Well done you have won » is scrolled across the screen

- Flourescent neons

- Luminous screen (one or more screens) the result is published on the screen. The screen also allows you to keep the client informed throughout the game.

Sound message :

- All PoS Systems are equipped with loud speakers for HQS (HIGH QUALITY SOUND)

- On each system there is a fader that allows you to regulate the volume.



The ticker printer – confirmation of win :

A printed ticket is confirmation that the client has won a prize.

This means that such a system can run autonomously.


It is possible to customise the tickets – insert a logo, a bar code for reading at the check-out or rules and regulations and any legal stipulations...


The PoS Systems

It is possible to produce some formats that can be toally customised to suit your budget, schedule and constraints.


The decor is principally printed on card (digital or screen print), it is also possible to print on PVC or any other rmore sophisticated substrate for more long term campaigns.
